Join us for the Parker Pie Run, a guided day trip unveiling the charm of Northern Vermont’s Class IV roads and backcountry. Scheduled for September 7th, 2024, at 8:30 am, this Saturday escapade invites enthusiasts to explore scenic routes and traverse exciting trails.

The trail’s difficulty is rated blue with intermittent green trails, promising an enjoyable mix of adventure and challenge. The journey through the scenic north country will bring beautiful views and exciting terrain. 

Following a day of trail exploration, we’ll rendezvous at Parker Pie Co. for an apres’ trails experience. Revel in the flavors of delectable pizzas and craft brews amidst the tranquil outdoor dining setting. Share your trail stories and have your overlanding queries addressed in a laid-back atmosphere.

  • 4X4 Overland Vehicle (with recovery gear, tools, and spares)
  • GMRS Radio Communication (vehicle-mounted unit or handheld)
  • Drinks, snacks, and lunch for trailside stop (optional if you don’t like to eat)

Trail Rating Scale

GREEN: Green level trails are easier type trails but are not just logging roads. They offer challenges to stock vehicles and new drivers. Damage can happen but is not likely.

Vehicle Requirements

Green Trail Rides (stock friendly) Minimum requirements: -4X4 Street legal vehicle with insurance -Good tires (All Terrains or Mud Terrains preferred) -Full size spare tire -Radio Communications (we use GMRS Radios) -Recovery points Front and Rear -Tire deflator for airing down -First Aid Kit appropriately sized for your vehicle and passengers. -Appropriate Clothing and footwear for the conditions Recommended for Green Rides: -Rock Sliders -30-inch All Terrain or Mud Terrain Tires -Vehicle Recovery Equipment -Kinetic rope -Tree saver strap -Shackles (multiple) -Pulley block -Winch line extension -Gloves -Fire Extinguisher -On Board Air set up for Tire inflation
