Embark on a unique adventure with the Trails and Trout Overland Fly-Fishing Trip by Ridgeback Guide Service, spanning from May 9th to May 12th. This journey offers 3 nights of camping and 2 days of overland travel while exploring some of Vermont’s exquisite trout streams.

Come equipped with your fly fishing gear, including a rod, waders, and flies, as well as a valid Vermont Fishing license for the days of fishing. Embrace the challenge of landing native fish in Vermont’s beautiful streams. We’ll traverse VT’s Class IV roads and backcountry streams, making this trip suitable for all levels of fly fishing or overlanding experience.

Each day, we will pause for provisioning and fuel before camping. Expect overland travel, fly fishing beneath beautiful skies, and storytelling around the campfire. The RGS Team will guide you through the trails, offering insights on catching the beautiful native fish that Vermont has to offer. If fly fishing isn’t your preference, feel free to use other bait. No judgments here—just a shared passion for adventure and the great outdoors.

Please reach out if you have any questions about itinerary, fishing, vehicle requirements or overland gear.
